In this episode, I chat with Maeve Ahern O’Neill who is a personal branding expert and runs her own business called ‘thebrandingofme’ (
www.thebrandingofme.ie). During the conversation, Maeve brings you on a whirlwind journey which covers her school days with the Nuns in Cork, to getting advice from Gay Byrne in RTE, to working in her Father's book emporium, to going back to college to study a masters in Digital Humanities, and then to starting up her own business focusing on Personal Branding. You’ll hear lots of great advice from Maeve as she reflects on some of the turning points that came up during her career and how all of these have lead her to where she is now. She talks about having a work ethic that is key to her ongoing progress, her responses to kick-backs and knocks during her career which all made her more determined to be successful, never rest on your laurels, work on your skill set and embrace the tools that are out there to help you build your online persona. We end on some Q&A on managing the work-life balance, Productivity hacks, and the Spice Girls. We talk about Victoria Beckham for a bit which was of mutual interest. Please enjoy the show. Best, Rob
